Sharpening your brain with all this changes
I remember the first place I ever set foot in to work. There was no set way to work and no one had any idea as to where they would find themselves the next day. It was more of a rotation kind of thing. Today you are here, the next day you find yourself in another place. It all played down to the kind of supervisor you had. Being a good worker I was always on transit. Sometimes I would stay for weeks without returning to my initial desk and with time, I simply relaxed and stopped worrying of finding my way to my first stop. One day when I was told to go back to base as it was normally referred to, I had a major hitch. ‘i forgot my computer password what do i do?’ I told my supervisor. He was not amused at all. He thought I did not want to work there and was fishing for some excuse to go somewhere else. ‘You go to the settings and reset your password. I don’t care how long it takes, but you will do your quota of work. ‘ he replied smugly. Luck was on my side because it worked out. I made sure to note it everywhere just so I would not have such a scenario in the near future. The next day, it was my supervisor’s turn to seek my help. ‘Are you able to spare some few minutes?’ he started lamely, ‘i forgot my photobucket password.’ I nearly screamed with laughter, but being a professional, I contained myself. ‘Put in your user name and request to change your password. That should do.’ His appreciation was followed by a lengthy talk on me being his best worker. Well, he had better prepare himself for payback time.
